Много сбоев после установки обновлений, перенос на другой SSD

Здравия желаю всем!
Очень прошу помочь новичку в линуксе, месяц пытаюсь решить сам и с помощью друзей с линуксом, и читая форумы, но тщетно.
Суть: накопилось много обновлений и решил все их установить. до этого пару месяцев всё работало отлично, изучал и ставил софт, только не всегда просыпался из ждущего режима- запускает питание и висит.
После перезагрузки стал очень медленно грузиться и запускать программы. Во всех программах при открытии\сохранении файлов они виснут продолжая отрисовывать графику, но не реагируя на клаву и мышь.
В бутлоге заметил ошибки чтения с SSD типа ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PCI0.SAT0.SPT2._GTF due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20210730/psparse-529)
Решил что посыпался диск, создал бэкап таймшифтом для переноса на другой SSD (Samsung EVO 960 через адаптер USB3.0)
Ставлю тот же дистрибутив с флэшки на SSD Samsung чтоб после восстановить на него бэкап= при форматировании выдаёт ошибку Не удалось создать раздел efi
С диска все разделы удалил и тип установки выбрал Стереть диск и установить
При этом он создал 3 раздела и 2 не размеченных в начале и конце
Gparted показывает что нет файл.системы в разделах
То есть установщик разделы создаёт и сразу пишет ошибку
Скрины фотал, но прикрепить не могу изза этой ошибки работы с файлами. переносить их могу только через буфер обмена.

При этом не заметил что на системном диске закончилось место и при перезагрузке слетели сотни вкладок в хроме. Восстановил бэкапом- вкладки не появились, ещё и grub пропал- показывает заставку и сразу грузится.

Подскажите как перенести систему на другой ссд? или если суть ошибок системы не в ссд- как починить систему?

Решил что посыпался диск, создал бэкап таймшифтом для переноса на другой SSD (Samsung EVO 960 через адаптер USB3.0)
Вот просто полный набор: "как делать не надо".

1. Timeshift - последняя программа по способности к клонированию (а перенос на другой диск - это именно оно). Она относительно хорошо справляется со своим прямым делом - созданием "контрольных точек", т.е. срезов состояния установленной системы для отката "если юзер/программа начудили", но вот для полноценного бекапа на случай отказа железа - это уже не к ней.
2. USB - не самый надежный интерфейс для системного диска. Тем более если у вас и так на исходный диск подозрение - не нужно еще и им вносить неопределенность. Нужно было нормальный (т.е) этот диск подключить полноценно, а подозрительный - можно уже и через USB. Приоритет в таком случае должен быть - "куда класть спасенные данные", т.к. если их не будет куда положить с гарантией - нет смысла насиловать проблемный диск (потенциально усугубляя проблему).
3. На подключенном через USB диске, у вас, видимо (раз на всех остальных дисках кроме системного тоже - вы ее скорее всего предпочитаете), разбивка MBR. Разумеется туда загрузчик просто так не станет, и раздел EFI создать не сможет - для этого нужна разбивка GPT на носителе.
4. Прежде чем решать "полетел диск" и принимать соответствующие меры, хорошо бы сначала убедиться в этом, и определить насколько все плохо. Т.е. посмотреть SMART. А для этого служит пакет smartmontools - его можно установить даже в live sudo apt install smartmontools, а потом посмотреть что там с диском sudo smartctl -a /dev/sda где вместо /dev/sda - ваш реально существующий диск. Вывод inxi подскажет какие диски есть. Выложите сюда вывод команды для подозрительного диска - посмотрим...

Клонировать систему в таких случаях лучше всего через соответствующий софт. Например Clonezilla - https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php
Но если там реально с диском аппаратные проблемы, это может и не получиться, а в некоторых случаях - и совсем не желательно. Тогда лучше уж просто сначала заново поставить систему, и уже потом вытащить руками со старого диска то, что получится, подключив его к новой.

У меня всегда так- если можно ошибиться- я ошибаюсь
1. идея была в чём- не клонировать, а установить ту же версию минта, а потом установить на неё бэкап. но она даже с прямой задачей не справилась- вкладки не восстановила, груб запорола
есть ли более удачный бэкапер?
2. у меня нет другого варианта подключить nvme кроме адаптера, другого ssd тоже нет, да и живу я в тайге 120км от Новосиба и редко могу туда выбраться за новым.
что интересно- загрузившись с ссд этот диск форматируется и создаёт разделы, а загрузившись с флэшки- выдаёт ошибку при создании раздела.
бэкап я положил в три разных винта на всякий случай.
3. перед установкой на него он был новый. в установке выбирал отформатировать и создать разделы автоматически- также как при установке на первый ссд, чтобы всё было одинаково.
разбивка MBR нужна так как использую диски и на второй машине с ХР. которая используется для ремонтов старого железа и хранения 24тб инфы. я 15 лет инет выкачивал перед тем как пересесть на линукс. теперь всё время только с ним колупаюсь. а то комп мне подарили чтоб я канал на ютюбе продолжил и стримы начал, а я всю зиму только с софтом разбираюсь.
4. диск приговорили независимо три человека по бутлогу. хотел исследовать поверхность найдя аналог victoria под линукс, но не нашёл. в простом тесте смарт ошибок не показывал.
В проге Диски диагноз пишет: Последняя самодиагностика завершена без ошибок, Пороговое значение не превышено, Диск исправен.

Клонзилой тоже пробовал, но в самом начале и за месяц уже забыл какие там были ошибки. сейчас ещё раз попробую.

Тоже частенько пользуюсь XP, но у меня комп выглядит как на фото, просто при необходимости работы с ним подсоединяю моник, клаву и мышку. Всё никак не соберусь всё это в корпус запихать. Работает и ладно

У меня то винтами забит. и каждый подсвечен светодиодом активности (с разъёма питания) чтоб видеть какие из 12ти винтов сейчас работают. Выкачивал параллельно несколькими прогами на разные винты= Strong DC++, emule, utorrent, download master, offline explorer

новый комп тоже хотел забить винтами и продолжить выкачки уже на линуксе. но чёт даже друзья линуксоиды советуют валить на винду. типа линукс это не для меня которому надо сотни прог и десятки железок подключать. типа это только для админов где настроил раз и забыл, или для простых юзеров которым кроме хрома и офиса ничего не надо.

а теперь мне и потраченного на изучение разных дистрибов времени жалко, и чую что я не вывезу так красноглазить когда и других дел навалом как со своими проектами так и по хозяйству.........

hellonet, да они итак в сети через роутер. но так как тут тайга то часты помехи, перебои и отключения света на несколько дней. тогда живу на кумулях и генераторах. да и вообще невыгодно несколько компов гонять круглосуточно. энергия то не халявная.
В 2010 Я уехал из Новосибирска в глухую таёжную деревню, так как имея три диплома инженера, 25 лет опыта в электронике и способности чинить до 40 аппаратов в день от колонок до ноутбуков, не мог найти себе работу. После 2008 почти все мастерские закрылись, а производства встали. За пару лет поменял шесть работ, и везде меня накалывали с оплатой. 4 из них закрылись даже не заплатив, а в двух последних сваливали мне всё тяжёлое что другие не могли починить- поэтому каждый ремонт несколько дней занимал, а остальные меняли кондёры в БП и получали раз в 10 больше меня. Недели голоданий от безденежья в поисках работы привели к мысли ехать на СВОЮ землю в СВОЙ дом. Город для меня навсегда стал мясорубкой и душегубкой. Я из тех советских людей кто не вписался в рыночные зверские отношения. Отказываюсь врать и вредить обществу. Мой план "Переезд из вавилона" растащили по многим сайтам как пособие.

В экопоселении Благодатное (Ордынка) меня организатор подставил со стройкой и землёй, когда уже были готовы сметы, строители, документы, лесовозы кедров для дома и продана квартира. Пришлось срочно искать место в деревнях. С гектаром и Лесом. Нашёл в полузаброшенной деревне Байкал за 800тыр. Иных вариантов не было. На остатки с покупки купил инструменты для хозяйства.

Изначально была идея родового поместья, поэтому я пару лет готовился- закупал всё для воспитания и обучения детей, от тетрадей и советских учебников до микро- и телескопа, компьютеров, изучал домашние роды и ухаживание. Но при всём ажиотаже женщин жить в чистой природе я за 10 лет не нашёл никого, кто смог бы уехать из города.

Тем более жить своими силами не работая и защищая своих детей от системы- ядовитых прививок и лживых учений. Отвыкая от городских удовольствий и благоустройств.

igel, Диск, в общем-то, может быть не в порядке, но далеко не факт. С равной возможностью, причиной может быть еще кабель данных/разъемы, и сам порт/контроллер на материнке. Там идут ошибки внешнего интерфейса передачи данных, и это все про него в целом.
Проще всего диагностируется поэтапной заменой (метод исключения) - было бы только чем.

Если вы им показывали тот же самый, что и здесь - их компетенция вызывает некоторые вопросы - возможно они имеют дело только с Windows, и с Linux у них опыта нет? Тогда он не может быть системным для материнки с EFI. Разве что делать Legacy загрузку, но в этом случае:
1. Ваш "бекап" от TimeShift идет лесом, т.к. будет несовместим.

Вы вообще никакого аналога не найдете. Она одна единственная. Причем для современных HDD (те что более 3TB) и она не подходит (старые версии, обновленная 5.х которая под винду - вроде бы работает, но такого доверия к себе не заработала). Благо у дисков есть SMART и его встроенные тесты поверхности. А для SSD поверхность тестировать вообще нет смысла, за отсутствием таковой. FLASH память там работает по другим принципам, и нет жесткой привязки конкретной ячейки к "позиции от начала диска".

igel, Кстати, если nvme диск подключен к материнской плате через адаптер, то компьютер не увидит на нем даже правильно установленную со всеми причиндалами (то бишь разделами) операционную систему. Я смог победить только с помощью Клевер (можно и ещё както, даже slant, здесь на форуме советовал как, но я не могу найти)

его на почту перенесли, а та ещё месяц в отпуске закрыта будет. да и я винты и ссд привык покупать по уценке в днс.

да тогда и смысла не было показывать. именно они и советовали поставить сперва рунту, потом убунту, потом я сам минт выбрал как вроде попроще.

нет, я качаю не столько софт, хотя его 2тб систем и прог, а инфу- каналы ютюб, сайты библиотек, форумы, разделы с книгами на руторе,,, типа одно из хранилищ судного дня =)

Тут вы категорически не правы. SSD используют для выравнивания износа ячеек "размазывание" записи по всем свободным. Т.е. если "вика" начнет проверять ячейку на износ записью, хрен она конкретную ячейку проверит - каждая запись будет происходить на новое место. И это совершенно неуправляемый из вне процесс, заложенный в прошивки дисков. А многократно читать сбойную ячейку надеясь повторами "вытянуть" данные, как это бывает случается с HDD - тоже смысла нету. FLASH память не может быть в каком-то промежуточном состоянии (как на HDD при потере уровня намагниченности слоя) - то что считывается из ячейки, будет идентичным всегда, до следующей попытки записи туда, или деградации. Потому достаточно просто посмотреть SMART - чтобы понять, что там происходило, и есть ли проблемы с ячейками. Там сохраняются все нужные для анализа следы.

Ну, в общем - если все так как вы описали, я бы посоветовал ставить систему вручную, заново, на новый диск. При подключении по USB, по другому - вряд ли получится, автоматика на такое не рассчитана. И потом просто вручную копировать данные со старого диска, не пытаясь развернуть сохраненное через timeshift. Для того, чтобы уменьшить количество проблем с загрузкой - rEFInd установите на efi раздел, как загрузчик по умолчанию.

Ну а точно стоит покупать новый ссд? по тестам же этот вполне нормальный. а-то получится что куплю, а дело вообще не в ссд. только клонированием \ ручным переносом можно причину сабжа выяснить?

Так прямо вам никто и не скажет. Может быть и такое как указывал slant здесь (от слов "с равной возможностью"). У меня, к примеру, был случай когда по общей картине вроде бы как ни с того, ни с сего винчестеру наступал кирдык. Причина же оказалась в неплотном прилегании контактов шлейфа SATA к разъему винчестера, хотя по внешнему осмотру всё было просто замечательно. И почему такое случилось на ровном месте – только гадать.

"Электроника- наука о контактах". у меня как-то было наоборот- в одном из разъёмов контакты шины были близко и ИНОГДА замыкали. благо корпуса у них разборные

Если бы! Это электрика (электричество) - наука о контактах. А в электронике есть еще емкости, наводки, частоты... :)
